23x33 charcoal drawing on Rives BFK. Used photographic reference of model friends I posed, composed, and composited into the constellation of elements of the fountain arcanum.
The underground stream is a concept within many (if not all mythologies) of the knowledge of underlying forces or currents behind everything that guide us all through further mutations.

When I first glanced at this, I thought "Photograph."

There are a couple fountains near my art school in Baltimore where I like to be when I need to get in touch with some plantlife. I'm a student at the Maryland Institute, College of Art. Going to be a junior this Fall.

magnificent! i fell into the same trap thinking it was a photograph...from a distance "nice black and white good compostition" but now that i see its not a photograph it draws me in so much further...beautiful...

50 hours was well worth it. Im IMPRESSED. The detail is amazing it does look like a photo from a distance. I like the composition a lot if u want u can check out some of my artwork at [link] or just check out my stuff here at deviantart
