Dr. Death’s Prescription for the Death Throes of an Anachronistic Empire
Repressive morality was developed by the shepherds of state and Church as a tool to maintain control over their flock of otherwise free sheeples. A “developing” civilization tends to have an enormous investment in these matters of differentiating the mental apparel of their citizens. Death provides no scope for a network of regulations by which society can be manipulated except in the avidness of its repression, and its worship. The propagation of administrative and technological models for human existence, ideas which demand allegiance to rules and "morality," or the wisdom of mercy and social compromise as seen by Judeo-Christian technocratic society. Our society operates with a justified "text" of ostensible motivation, and a sublimated "subtext" of desires and natural passions within the archi-text-ure of civilization. As society continues to crumble toward moralism in the midst of self-destruction, neo-thinkers look away from Judeo-Christianity and the Liberalism/Conservativism dichotomy toward “ancient” modes of thought which valued the place of all of humanity in nature before the "moral worth" of the individual.
I have long felt that cities, those centers of civilizations, have a viral quality to them- infecting their inhabitants with a “metro-mind”, the epitomic epidemic of a memetic virus of consumption, production, repression, and war. Everything about our earliest known civilizations suggests inheritance of culture, rather than linear social evolution. I propose that civilizations themselves are viral manifestations of a sort of infection from the “gods”. Before the sickness, humanity was in a state of homeostasis, a self-sustaining balance with no notions of time, separation, and progress. Viruses replicate themselves until all resources are used up from the host body. The qualities of the infection lead to the perception of linear progression through the chute of time, and in this mode of thinking- the fear of death. We fear meaninglessness and uselessness. Therefore we spend our whole life persuading ourselves we are in-vincible. One of the tricks for assuring ourselves of eternal life is consumption. The world economy is an altar for consumers and investors. The consumer world deludes us that we can find absolute security in an uncertain meaningless world. We believe we can spend our whole life in a state of unending self-realization without paying a psychic price for life in a completely uninhibited hedonism. Our self-esteem is based on what we possess and consume, not on what we really are. Our whole economy is driven by our psychic need to fill our intellectual and emotional vacuum with more and more trash and by our illusion that the accumulation of riches and material possessions give life a meaning. When we feel in a foul mood and want to build up ourselves, we buy new clothes, eat in a stylish restaurant or rent a video. The less meaning we find in life, the more we are seduced by this materialist approach that says: "Work hard and amuse yourself well" - an approach that is based on a lie.
To dull the effects of pain and suffering that go along with futility, many seek a life grounded in possession, consumption and power over people, things machines and riches. Those who depend on "having" often show an aggressive, hostile competitive behavior. Owning something is synonymous with assumption of power or conquest. Robbery, destruction, strain and consuming are all forms of having. Whoever is possessed by having fears loss and everyone else, the state and ultimately death. As a nation we are so mad about having that we have lost the ability to act and think. We usually make our happiness dependent on superiority over others, our power and skill for manipulating others. Capitalist America is the most efficient and most productive nation of the world at the expense of humanity. Although drug addiction is illegal, dependence on consumer goods, department store catalogues, shopping malls, internet shopping and credit cards is forced by advertising. The message from both Washington and the economy is always the same: "Buy now, save later for retirement". When we do not play this game, the whole house of cards crashes. We have the patriotic duty to consume. Being a patriot means consuming to excess and defending the very right to pursuit of consumption at the expense of others. Whoever gains most odds and ends to bless the temporal wins the game. The world economy is an altar on which consumers and investors make their sacrifice. The market is our god. So that capitalism continues to function smoothly, people must believe that the way to happiness requires the accumulation of enough money and assets. In this way we can finance a trendy estate, a couple of cars, an entertainment theater, a boat and a college education for our children. To afford all these things, we must work hard until we retire or die. The harder we work, the more money we have- the more we can buy, the happier we will be. We persuade ourselves further into this belief system prison.
We live in a time of unparalleled “prosperity” which is also the time of the "living dead". Many Americans who practically withhold nothing from themselves in material satisfaction seem more dead than alive. What is worse than being killed, is consenting to the suffocation of your own life without even being conscious of it. The societal epitome of the symptoms of the ‘modern’ infection manifest as though we are spiritually, emotionally and intellectually dead. The living dead are everywhere. They surf on the Internet, read their emails, visit Internet chatrooms, spend day after day working on their various art projects, are occupied with stock trading, pop their daily pills to maintain their healthy happy mentality, cling to CNN in the hope of hearing about some event that livens up their otherwise uneventful daily routine, drive alone through the city to seek more plastic trash at Wal*Mart, stop at McDonalds for a fast body-rotting meal, pretend to warm themselves up for their stupid office job and watch "Joe Millionaire" on TV. Our government, our politicians and the high priests of the economic world are striptease artists and we are the gawking audience trying to get up the nerve to satisfy our desire to put our hard-earned money in their lingerie.
How do we sever the bloodsucking umbilicus to the system? Let go of your tumult and think for yourself about what all of this means. What is your intent? The virus is deeply established in the human condition and depends on meaninglessness, isolation, powerlessness, repression of death, and dependence on the system for satisfaction of existing. We must decode the meanings and influence of subjects in our lives- money, religion, government, violence, policy, etc. We must decode the nature of humanity as a collective and ourselves as individuals. We must be aware of how we are influenced and how we influence others. In-flu-ence, the condition of infection of being within the boundaries of an ideological illness that causes the infected to carry the virus to others so that it may continue its survival pattern. Open rebellion against the system is necessary and imperative for the sake of our health and actual enjoyment of being breathing, creative beings.
We are here for a moment, and we can sit on your thumbs and do whatever we want, but in fact the illusionistic clock is ticking. What are you going do about it? Are we going blow it off, be a hedonist, or…? If most people took existence seriously, a hell of a lot more would be done with more attention to quality and intent, and some of us are always talking about this stuff- intent. Death is the black hole of biological consciousness. It's an event horizon, and once you go over that event horizon, no information can be passed back out of the hole. So people can stand around the edge of the hole and say, “Well it was this or that”, but in fact, it represents some kind of limit case in the thermodynamics of information. You just can't hand messages back over that threshold. So we must get ourselves pointed right, do not your mantras bungle, and that's about it. When we’re “actually” dead, all bets are off in any sense of actuality. Perhaps, we discover that when we die we become our website. We are on the brink of a posthuman existence, or we are into the early phase of the posthuman existence. In this context, “posthuman” is more human than human.

i set my dog on fire
But the virus (this system) became the body....and the "real "living people", now are the 'virus'....and the 'body' is gonna destroy whatever means revolution or change. Suicides, jail, 'madness'....these are examples how the system 'pay' to the outsiders.
Interesting....I would like to translate it to spanish.
To have a memetic vaccine here too
(sorry for the bad english)
